Gumdrop nougat candy
Marshmallows and white chocolate melted together in the microwave, gumdrops folded through, set cold and cut into cubes. No thermometer, no oven, and the dose rides in two tablespoons of butter stirred into the whole slab.

Ingredients
2 tbsp infused butter
Set your infusion strength above and this splits into infused and plain butter to hit whatever dose you want.
- 18 ozwhite chocolate chips
- 16 ozmini marshmallows
- 2 cupsfruit gumdrops — the small chewy kind; spice drops or quartered fruit jellies work too
- nonstick cooking spray — for the pan, your hands and the knife
Method
- 01
Line a 9 x 13 inch pan with parchment, leaving an overhang on the long sides to lift the slab out by, and give the paper a light coat of nonstick spray.
- 02
Put the marshmallows, white chocolate chips and the infused butter together in a large microwave-safe glass bowl. The butter is the only thing in the bowl that carries the dose, so from here on the job is to get it through every part of the mass.
- 03
Microwave for 90 seconds, stopping at 45 to stir.
- 04
Microwave for 30 seconds more, stirring at 15. It should be thick, fluffy and smooth, with no streak of melted butter sitting on top: stir until it has vanished into the mass, because a streak is a dose that ends up in one piece.
- 05
Fold in the gumdrops quickly. The mixture stiffens as it cools, and you want the candy spread through it rather than clumped where it landed.
- 06
Scrape it into the pan right away and press it level with hands coated in nonstick spray. An even slab is an even dose, and this one is cut blind.
- 07
Refrigerate for at least six hours, or freeze for about two if you are in a hurry.

- 08
Lift the cold slab out by the parchment onto a board, peel the paper away, and cut it into 24 equal pieces with a knife coated in nonstick spray: four rows by six. If it is still tacky, freeze it for 30 minutes and try again.
- 09
Store the pieces airtight in the refrigerator with parchment between the layers, or freeze them for up to three months, and label the container. Cut nougat with gumdrops in it looks exactly like the candy it was made from, which is the one a child or a guest reaches for without asking.

Every recipe here names the conventional ratio underneath it. The cannabis part is a fat substitution, not new chemistry — so if the base is sound and the substitution is sound, the recipe is sound.

Before you eat it
- These are estimates, not lab results. Treat the low end as the honest number and the high end as the thing to plan around.
- Start with one serving and wait two hours. Edibles take 30 to 120 minutes to come on, and the most common mistake is redosing before the first one lands.
- Test a small piece first. Potency is rarely even across a batch, especially if the infusion was not mixed thoroughly.
- Label anything you store with the date and the estimated dose, and keep it away from children, pets and anyone who did not ask for it.
- If you overdo it: you are not in danger, but it will be unpleasant. Find somewhere quiet, drink water, and wait it out. Do not drive. What to do.

Salted honey oat bites
No oven, no smell, five minutes of work. The easiest thing on this site to make and the easiest to dose evenly, because nothing bakes unevenly.

Movie night popcorn
Popped in plain oil, dressed in infused oil afterward. Popping temperatures are far too hot for an infusion, which is why almost every recipe that pops in cannabutter wastes most of it.
6 servings
Honey glazed spiced nuts
Roasted first, glazed with infused honey after they cool. Infused honey is less efficient than fat, so this leans on the glaze going on cold rather than being baked.
