Cool and camphorous, eucalyptus and mint.
Cooling, medicinal at the wrong dose, and genuinely good in small amounts against chocolate or coffee. Mint is the safe partner. It is volatile, so a drink or a chilled dessert keeps more of it than anything baked.

These are the lightest compounds in the plant and they leave first. Decarbing costs you most of them before the fat is even involved — the coolest step on the schedule is 200 °F, and that is already well past where they start moving. If this is the aroma you want, it has to come back into the dish from somewhere else: fresh zest, fresh herbs, a spirit, stirred in off the heat.
Pure eucalyptol boils at 176 °C / 349 °F. That figure is the isolated compound at atmospheric pressure, not a threshold in a pan. Dissolved in fat it leaves gradually and the butter holds some of it the whole way — which is why the band above is the number to plan around and this one is only a bearing.
The same compound is in eucalyptus, bay leaf, rosemary and cardamom — which is the short version of why these pairings work. You are not matching a flavor to the cannabis, you are adding more of something the flower already tastes of.

An uncooked fondant of confectioners' sugar and coconut oil, chilled hard and dipped in dark chocolate. Firm centers are the whole game — a soft patty smears in the bowl and comes out a lumpy puddle.

Brown sugar and vanilla carry the whole bar, with no cocoa to hide behind. That means the butter you use should be butter you would happily eat on toast, because the flavor is right out in the open.

The standard creamed-butter drop cookie, with the butter browned first. Browning drives off water and deepens the flavor enough to cover any grassiness in the infusion.

Peanut butter fudge rolled into balls and dipped so a bare circle shows on top, the way the nut does. Cold, firm centers are what keep the filling out of the chocolate bowl.

From StrainTrackr. Each of these breeders named eucalyptol on their own product page — a claim about their cultivar, not a lab result. Most strains have no terpenes published at all, so this is a sample of what is documented rather than a ranking of what is strongest.
